Apologize about stating it was a 1970 s penny. Accidentally confused it with another penny I also have questions about. Bit if anyone is able to help me with any info on this 1989 Lincoln Penny it would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks

Hard to say for sure from those photos, but it may
have been contained in a bezel at one time.
In any case, it's not an error but some form of PMD.

PS-
In the future, please crop and rotate your photos as per
CCF instructions. This makes it easier for everybody.

As said, just a heavily damaged coin with Post Strike Damage ( PSD). It's only worth face now.
