Hello there my fellow coin hunters and collectors. I was out at the store one day and stumbled upon something I thought looked very off and so I give it a much closer inspection and the bird on the reverse seems to puking down the whole coin. Have yet to hear or see anything like this. Opinions/Thoughts welcome.

Thanks #9786;#65039;

There are a lot of secondary glare combined with unfocused images!to me this coin looks it is damaged,it looks like the coin was slipped through a vending machine slot and or a similar mechanical device and it's been scraped.

@Errers I wondered it being something of the sort, I will get more pictures with better lighting.

@Chase007 despite one picture having a glare, out of the millions of quarters my eyes have bestowed upon, I have never seen anything like this, would you say you have and for certain, 100 percent can call that 'vending machine damage'. I have never ever seen any machine do that, but like I told Errers, I will get better pictures for you folks.

Appreciate the thoughts, don't shoot me down to hard.
I'm trying to be a trendsetter over here boys! &

If it is a die issue the die scratches should disappear behind devices on the coin. It they flow over the devices, then they are coin scratches.

Absolutely not! with an exception on certain obvious and well known errors all other opinions are solely based on what is seen in the photos provided and it'll make it that much harder to be accurate when the images aren't vivid. but after looking at your new image ,I agree with both E/V and coop, they do look like die scrapes.
