I found this in a roll a quarters I got from a bank:   Can anyone identify it's year, denomination, and approximate value? Which side is the obverse? Thanks in advance!

This is from Oman, not Saudi Arabia.
The lower photo is upside down. It's a 50 baisa dated 1428.
1428AH corresponds to 2007/2008,

Generally, the side that shows the ruler, head of state, national identity is the obverse.

Hi. This is a coin from the Sultanate of Oman. It is dated 1428 which is the Islamic calendar. That would be the year 2007 AD. It is a 50 baisa denomination coin which is approximately USD 1.40.
