Can anyone identify it's year, denomination, and approximate value? Which side is the obverse?

Thanks in advance!

Looks to be from Oman

Obverse is the crossed swords I believe.
I see the date but don't have my cheat sheet to read it handy.

This is from Oman, not Saudi Arabia.

The lower photo is upside down. It's a 50 baisa dated 1428.

1428AH corresponds to 2007/2008,

Generally, the side that shows the ruler, head of state, national identity is the obverse.

AH 1428 which I think would be 2007 or 2008.

Here is an updated catalog reference: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces13527.html

You can find the value of your coin by doing a sold items search on ebay using the terms Oman 50 Baisa 2008 or Oman 50 Baisa 1428.

Thanks everyone! I wasn't sure if it was from Saudi, that's why I put a question mark in the topic title.
I also found this reference to the coin:

And since I can't read any of the ME languages, I didn't know which side was up or down! :)

Apparently a common coin, though earlier types of this denomination are worth more:

Hi. This is a coin from the Sultanate of Oman. It is dated 1428 which is the Islamic calendar. That would be the year 2007 AD. It is a 50 baisa denomination coin which is approximately USD 1.40.
