I have recently won two auctions from a seller (bigscott402) who seems to have nothing but Private Listing as bidders for all of his coins.

I am happy with my purchases but the prices ended up being on the higher end. All of his auctions having nothing but private bidders seems fishy even though there are multiple bidders.

I am wondering if anyone has experience with this seller or situation.
Rest in Peace

Yeah some say it's legit and no problem ,but I still have doubts about private bidders .

Life is to short, if you are happy with the purchases just enjoy them and forget about it.

Private or public listings really make no difference as far as bidding something up. Some like the private listings more others are distrustful of it because they think it's going to be shill bid. The honest truth is that is something is going to be shill bid it is going to be shill bid, public or private makes no difference.

At the end of the day the only one who can increase your max bid is you. Stay within your means on a coin and if you win enjoy it. Some premium or really rare pieces you may have to stretch for but only you can decide how much it's worth to you.

I know what you mean! There have been several coins I've bid on, hidden bidder goes higher than me. Then, a few weeks later I get a notice that an item I bid on is relisted. It does seem fishy to me, that's why I set an amount, if I get it, fine, if I don't, I just rebid on them when the show back up. Has happened with a few different sellers but one in particular... fishy... but isn't a dayum thing we can do about it. Just set your limit.

Private bidders don't really bother me. I know what I can spend, and that's it. Not sure why sellers do it, probably hurts them actually, because it steers some people away.

I've had second chance offers in less than 24 hours. This is where the fish really stinks...
