Good day all,

Besides the "FG" are there any other letters that give away that this coin is a WAM? In a previous posting the "A" in America was mentioned. What would I be looking for in that "A"? Also, first or last "A"?

thanks for any info

The " Wide AM" thing on the 1988's RDV-006 is kind of a misnomer. It's really the FG initials you need to look for. Although on the RDV-006, there's a very slight differences in the "AM" of "AMERICA". The A is slightly spaced farther on the RDV-006 than on the RDV-005.

Thanks for the info...

Time to go find me an RDV-005 (which shouldn't be hard) and do a comparison.

You're very welcome. And very nice find by the way! You do indeed have the 1988 RDV-006. I have actually found 2 of them, but traded one in a trade with Jim0815. I now have one in etheir high AU condition or in a low Mint State grade.

Only one WAM in business strike left for me to find... 1999. I would be very happy if I find one by the end of next year.

Thanks again

Now that is something for CRH!

It couldn't have been more then 10 years in the wild before you found this coin; in great condition.
