I know of the Reverse Proof Mint Set (including the Light Finish Variety)and the Silver Proof Set, but how many other Kennedy halves were issued in 2018, beside the three I mention above ? Thanks, Richard S.

If you mean how many different varieties...this is what I can come up with:
o Proof o Silver Proof o Uncirculated o Circulating o Reverse Proof

I guess I should have been more specific ...
I know of three versions so far;
Silver Proof Set Silver Reverse Proof Set Silver Reverse Proof Set (Light Version)
My question is: How many other varieties of Silver 2018 Kennedys were issued ?
(for example, the Apollo 11 Set in 2019 is a variety, there is a so-called "Limited Edition Set", etc).
I hope I made myself clearer on this.
Thanks,
Richard S.

If you want to know all the products in which Kennedy halves were distributed for 2018, you can go down the 2018 product schedule which is still available on the U.S. Mint web site. I stand by my list above though... for example, the silver proof Kennedy in the Silver Proof set is the same coin as is in the LESPS. The only thing different is packaging so to me that is the same coin. To TPGs and certain collectors, they're different.

Third Party Graders. Like PCGS, NGC, ANACS, etc.

(for example, the Apollo 11 Set in 2019 is a variety, there is a so-called "Limited Edition Set", etc). IMHO the majority of collectors consider a coin to be a variety when either the die used to strike it is different than the other dies used for the coin or the coin's composition is different. Examples would be the 1981-S Type 1 & 2 proof coins or silver vs clad proofs. Although PCGS insists on calling the different labels they put on slabs with the same coin a "Die Variety", they just aren't as there is nothing different about the coins. If you want to know how many PCGS "Die Varieties" there are for a particular coin, then that information is available by checking the PCGS Coin Facts for the coin. For example, PCGS lists 188 different varieties for the 2014-P Baseball HOF Proof Ag $1 even though the Mint produced only one variety of the coin
