1935 Buffalo Nickel Cut?

Looking for some insight to a 1935 Buffalo nickle that has a unique cut. I think its unique because the cut goes all the way through the nickel and has a slight curve. I don't know if its a mint error or post mint damage. Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Appears to be a deliberate cut - PMD.

Yeah , it is not a mint error . Looks like somebody attempted to cut it or saw it in half .

@ijt, first welcome to CCF. Second, I agree that this cut is 100% PMD. It is a shame as that destroys the value of the coin.
