I have a 2017P Iowa Quarter that has edging errors. I have enclosed photos and hope you can see them well. Could anyone tell me if this is a high valued coin or not. By the way... this coin will not fit into a coin slot.

to CCF. You should only hold coins by the edge. Fingerprints are the death of a nice coin. Give it a bit and a pro will chime in.

Please post a full picture of the Obverse and Reverse.
Looks like the edges may have been ground but need further evidence.

Also To the CCF

Interesting, If possible I'd like to see full obverse and reverse condition before suggesting more. Thanks, Doug.

Adding: Might verify the weight and diameter.

To CCF! Looks like a Partial Collar error. Just an FYI, you are supposed to hold coins only on the edge or wear gloves when handling coins. That fingerprint just knocked off some value off of your coin. Next time don't hold coins like that. https://minterrornews.com/priceguid...lcollar.html

Thanks for all the advice. Obviously, I know nothing about coins. But am very interested in them. I will include more photos which have already been taken.

Here are the front and back photos of the coin. I dont know what happened but I believe it was done during the press of the coin.

I also think it is partial collar. However, if the reverse is a bit "off", it may instead be Misaligned Die Strike.

Here is my Misaligned Die Strike Iowa ATB.
