My girlfriend said she has a quarter at work that has 3 flying birds on the back. The coin has a dark bronze look to it. I tried looking it up but can't find anything. Anybody happen to know what it could be?

Please post some pics. a quarter with 3 birds is pretty vague. As if it says it is a quarter, I imagine it has other words on it as well. Or is she implying it is the size of a quarter. So some pics my good man!

It could be anything. As noted we need some photos or very complete descriptions.

Update: she looked this morning but the quarter was missing #128555; she couldn't take it due to it being in the register. She tried to hide it but it's gone now. So it's a mystery!

My hunch is 2017 Effigy Mounds quarter and she's mistaking the two bear mounds for birds. Otherwise it could be any quarter-sized world coin that snuck into circulation (but I can't think of any with 3 birds).

I think you're right, kbbpll. I looked through the State Quarters and ATB Quarters and couldn't find a single example with three birds.
