Machine Doubling, or MD, does not have any sort of value or premium on a coin, right? Does it depend on how prominent the doubling occurs to look more valuable, or does it not matter irregardless?

Thanks in advance.

That's a good question. Regular Machine Doubling isn't valuable. I suppose though that if someone saw some Machine Doubling that made them say, "now that's some crazy Machine Doubling" they might pay a small premium. I know I wouldn't but maybe someone would. Otherwise it's worthless.

I agree that it could be interestingly to look at but doesn't increase the numismatic value of a coin.

Machine Doubling is usually frowned upon my coin collectors, so there will be no premium for it.
