I just recently sent off my first submission to NGC (standard tier), and tracking shows that my registered package was delivered 2 days ago.

I realize I'm being a bit paranoid, but just wondering how long it is typical to wait after delivery for the invoice to show up on my NGC Submissions page.

Thanks!

Usually it's 1-2 days. Right now it will probably be 3 or 4. Both PCGS and NGC have been getting a lot of submissions and are getting them entered a little slower than usual right now. My last PCGS one actually got entered on a Saturday from overtime being put in to catch up.

This week is also the Baltimore show so not all the staff are at the home offices.

Yurp, mine took 3 days + a few extra for plate photography. You won't have to deal with that.

Best answer is "It depends."
For instance this weekend will be the Baltimore Whitman Show which is a fairly major show (well into the 100's of dealers).
NGC, PCGS and others will have submission tables each of which will have to be manned by employees from the TPG's.
So activity at their home sites will be slowed.

Thanks all. I guess I just inadvertently chose a rather poor time to submit.

At the moment, it's hard to say whether they've entered my submission into their system yet or not, since their site seems to be malfunctioning:

When I enter my submission # here, I get this error message:

I am definitely signed in, and it brings up this same message for any number I put in.

I see they've updated the tracking page since I used it last month... They've always had mine checked in a couple of days after delivery at the latest.

It should just be showing up under the my submissions view status, you shouldn't need to enter the number. Looks like they probably won't get it in for you this week.

The start of the year is always one of the busier periods for submissions with all the new products and the big bulk submissions for those. Depending what you've submitted the grading isn't necessarily slower and sometimes actually faster, but getting things entered into the system and the logistical stuff is always slower
