Can you get a straight on view of the Clipped area. It could be a Ragged Clip possibly. http://www.error-ref.com/ragged-clips/

With E&V! And that sure does look like Blakesley effect on the opposite side of the clip. If so, that is one heck of a find!

Hope these pics help your assessment! I had tossed this in the scrap pile and dug it out when I learned about the Blakesley effect from an earlier post today! Thanks guys. What might this be worth?

Genuine and very nice ragged clip. There are lots of small curved clips for this date, but a large ragged clip like yours is unusual and highly desirable. One was listed recently on ebay, I do not recall if it sold.
