I have asked about this Lincoln Cent before I am probably going to get it graded from PCGS but before I do I just wanted to make sure this is the 1988 WAM Lincoln Cent thanks

Looks like it to me. Full pictures of the coin would be helpful. Depending on the grade and whether it's a red it might not be worth sending it out. But I'll let the more experienced members chime in

Why get it graded? It looks RB from these pics, they aren't worth much unless in full red

Nice find. The 005 reverse and the 006 reverse are Wide AM. To call it a Wide AM does not ID it. You should call it a 1988 RDV-006 or 1988 with reverse of 1989. I would not slab this one but if you find one in higher grade submit it as a RDV-006 variety.

When you submit a coin, you usually do this to get a higher grade. (BU coins) When I buy a coin that is slabbed, Do I pay a premium + on them? Not I just consider the grade and even them I check to make sure they are correct. It just make sense to me to have something graded that could cost more than the coin is worth. I figure it needs to be in the $100+ range before I would submit a coin. (I've never done that yet)

Good advice coop. I agree with the $100 as a minimum.

What confuses people is stupid PCGS DOES call it a Wide AM on their labels. Gets everyone looking for a Wide AM on their 1988's and when they find one (Which they do because ALL of them are Wide AM) they think they have found this one.
