The Barry Murphy page you link to shows the dates of 400-350 BC. I gather the Gallipoli peninsula was all called this Chersonesos so is the thought these coins came from a certain city that also had this name and different mints or was this a confederation at the time and these markings could all be different cities on the peninsula and sub mints in the cities? People seem to be saying online this all was under Athens at that time, but such a wide mintage of these with such variations, why does this have to be 400-350 BC and could this be an earlier of cities under the others who rules the place?
