but they all look type 1 to me.

Best way to tell? Note on the lower serif. It ends with a blunt corner on the type 1.

Wow!! I was EYE-BALLING the heck out of the "S".

But using that specific characteristic of the lower serif is quicker AND MORE DISTICT.
