My rare Buffalo nickel seems to be in fantastic condition. The ones that I came across on the PCGS grading system did not show this crisp of detail. I want opinions due to the value of this rarity. Any ideas of what the grade may appear to be or what the value of this nickel is? I have many different dates in this same condition and these gems are hard to find.

to the forum! The photos are not the best, but I can't see any of the doubling the 1916 DDO should have. None on the date and none on the feathers. Of course, the shadows in the image could be obscuring them, but I haven't seen a 1916 DDO with a die clash under the jaw. So I don't think it's very likely this is the DDO.

Im sorry this is actually a 1916 S "not the DDO. I will post the DDO tomorrow for everyone's opinion. Thanks for the help and if anyone does know what grade this would be or what value it could be, please feel free to give me your thoughts

If you want opinions on a grade we'll need to see BOTH sides with MUCH better images.

I see a strong die clash below the chin but I don't see evidence of the major DDO.
