I am highly certain it is a DDO and is a very late stage. If it wasn't for the 2 itself, I wouldn't say it is a DDO. At first, thought it may be a 4, but am now leaning toward a 6 after putting it under my microscope. Any thougths, or is my excitement jaded again? Thanks!

to the CCF. To know if you have the 006 look at the reverse. Between the upper portion of the roof and the memorial there's should be die scratches. I am honestly not seeing what your seeing but keep in mind there are thousands of 1972's that came from a Doubled working hub and they are only worth face value.

It's mainly the inside curve of the 2 that I am seeing the doubling. I posted a pic of the D in GOD to show the thickness, but I don't see the doubling that should be there. It would be my first doubled die I have found. The coin is pretty well circulated, and I figured as much about the value. I like collecting and have yet to sell a coin I have found and probably never will. I will just leave give them to my kids one day, but until then, I'm enjoying the search.

Here is the best I can get of the U. It is hard to tell, but there might be a little doubling. I think it might be a very late die stage

DDO-6? Or just a doubled hub? Or something else? I have a page that I try to label so I get a feel and I can teach my kids as well.

It appears it is from a Doubled working hub. Not a DDO.

On the images we needed to see, it was flooded with glare.
