The long scratch along the lap of liberty is due to a die scratch that was well known in this particular obverse die. It is raised and wnhances the value of the coin because this makes it a well-known and very scarce variety.

I have a very similar coin, with the same obverse die crack. The mintmark on mine always seemed softly struck and I see the same quality on the posted coin. Mine is graded PCGS AU-55 which would seem fair for this one. The field marks look like scratches from mishandling but don't seem severe enough to cause a details grade. I suspect the buyer will be happy with their purchase.
