I don't think that these are particularly rare as we see them often here on CCF. I'm not sure that you could expect much over face value for this relatively small amount of missing design, but I'll be interested to see what others think. The filled die error is common from what I have read, but some people are evidently interested in it. Maybe because of the location and changing the meaning of the phrase? It appears to have sold on ebay for $15 to $30+. $15-$30 for 25 cents... not too shabbie! Report this Post to the Staff
