Hello, does anybody own this catalogue? I just looked it up on ebay - but www.krausebooks.com does not mention it. Looks pretty interesting for a "normal" world-coin-collector because these commercial issues (e.g. Liberia, Cuba) seem to be not included. ***Edited by Forum Dad to fix image***

Haven't heard of this one and haven't found anything like that for sale here (apart from the usual 7 volumes).
So, does it include * issues that are currently in circulation, or * issues that were not commemorative minted from 1901. From the cover looks like the second option, am I right?

Link works fine with me ...
@DL20K - I think so, too. If your are right, THAT would be the one-and-only book for the world-coin-collector. No more two KMs with different info about the same coin...
Seems to be 12th edition until now, so why did nobody notice it so far ?

Just found this post. This is the book for me! No more so called coins with pokemon on! I assume it still includes circulating commemoratives as these are OK in my world.
Also looks like it comes with a DVD version (see cover) I want one now!

I have one of these (11th ed) and am very happy with it. I do not have the DVD.
When I received my Standard Catalog 1901-present, I was disappointed that they included all of the not-intended-for-circulation coins. They took up a lot of space. This version is much slimmer.
My 'Standard Catalog' had 43 pages for coins from Cuba, which were mostly commemorative. The 'Circulating Issues' Cuba section is three pages.
It works well for a collector like me, who gets most of his coins from junk bins.

Yes, Cuba is a very good example. Do they still have the visitor's coinage for Cuba though? Hopefully the answer is yes. And can you confirm that they include circulating commemoratives, such as the £2 and 50p coins of the UK? Presumably they also don't bother with proof sets? What about patterns, essais and pieforts etc? Sorry for so many questions but I really would love to know, Thanks!

They include circulating comms, such as the UK £2 and 50p. Thailand also has a lot. Cuba's visitor coinage is included. Proofs are listed with mintage and values alongside the circulating examples, but aren't included if proof-only issues. Didn't see any proof sets listed. Didn't see any patterns, pieforts... Looks like the latest (12th) edition at Amazon costs $25-30. I bought my used 11th edition from amazon--cost + shipping was less than $10. WheatieFan

I've put it on my christmas list (at the top)! Is the 12th edition the first one with the DVD?
