Here are two Washington quarters which may or may not be errors
the first is missing a date the second may be a clip error.

Anyone care to share their opinions.

The photo of the back of the quarter is magic! I've looked a couple times and get an opticial illusion that the eagle in indented into the coin. Neat photo!

The eagle looks incuse to me. I've seen this illusion on coins before as well as some that appear to have very high relief. Neat stuff!!! Mike

First coin is Struck Through Grease, perhaps some modest premium.

Second coin is a genuine clip.

Reason for the indented appearance in the reverse image is because we expect to see coins lit from the top - this one is lit from the bottom. Our brains tell us to assume all of the lit parts face the top of the coin, and when the direction of light is reversed, we see it as opposite what it really is.
