Hey everyone.

So for years now Ive hurd and read about collectable serial numbers on English notes. Ever since I hurd I've been looking and hoping to find one. Well the other day a stroke of luck!! A brand new crisp and undamaged £10 note. Serial AK47. My question is, does anyone know how much value it could hold to a collector or has anyone seen AK47 NOTES going up for sale and for what price.

Thanks you in advance to anyone that replies

There are 999,999 £10 notes with the AK47 prefix so they are no rarer or commoner than any other prefix. The note may have a little novelty value, but that would just depend on what someone would want to pay for it. I suggest that you check the 'Sold' listings on ebay.

I see there's one on the bay, a 5, at about 2400.

This may be of interest, but ingest with salt, it's from the Sun.

though you might have a better offer if you present it to gun collectors.
