can we see a picture of the other side? and can you tell its weight?

So far from only that picture, it doesn't look like gold.

Weight is about 7.2 to 7.4 g and the diam is 12.2 mm

The diameter is ok but, if your scales are accurate, the weight is less than it should be.
The colour is very odd too, doesn't look at all like gold.

Does it look gold in hand? It sure doesn't in the picture. Weight and diameter check out.

DONT CLEAN! especially if it has a C mintmark, but then again I dont collect these , unless you understand how to to it properly.

A much better photo might help (both sides).
