I've never seen one like this!
Has anyone else ever seen a Cud and a pre-cud on the same coin?

Hi,

Actually from the 1980s, I have several rolls of small Cuds like this that I've pulled from circulation over the years.

I have not examined them carefully enough to see if there is also evidence of the die crack that will lead to a second die break and perhaps a second " Cud".

I wouldn't classify it as rare but it is interesting to have one coin exhibit a Cud and also show what the precursor to a Cud would look like.

Thanks,
Bill
