Counterfeit coins are interesting to study regarding the art of deception. Here are two coins that should be silver but have much copper showing. Density tests reveal they are not genuine.

I agree and think it would be helpful if there was a forum dedicated to display and explain deceptive coinage.

GREAT IDEA.

This forum needs a dedicated section on counterfeits - I would love to learn more! Seeing fakes next to legit coins along with weights etc would help us all.
