So when you look at rounded devices, the opposite side is wider than the reduced by Machine Doubling side. These coins if they were a DDO would have devices affected in the centers of the devices, not on the outside edges of the coin. The last JFK half doubled dies was 1992: http://doubleddie.com/919455.html But like the quarters the centers of the devices are probably the only places you would find a DDO 99% of the time.
