Note on each device, the devices are reduced in size. So when you look at rounded devices, the opposite side is wider than the reduced by Machine Doubling side. These coins if they were a DDO would have devices affected in the centers of the devices, not on the outside edges of the coin. The last JFK half doubled dies was 1992:

But like the quarters the centers of the devices are probably the only places you would find a DDO 99% of the time.
