I just searched using these words: silver, commemorative, dollar. One hit near the top of the list was the 1986 Statue of Liberty commemorative half dollar, a clad coin that accompanied a full dollar coin, and there was no mention of silver in the title or the content.

I entered silver proof Kennedy half dollar as a search and this came up.
This one I blame the seller for, but it goes to show how you have to be careful when you're searching the listings.
Someone who is new or perhaps is thinking they might buy this for a friend could easily be taken.
