Pulled this out of a Mint Set, today.

I'd like expert opinions on this one. I first suspected a strike through of cloth that I have heard about.

Looks like it was struck through oil. Maybe oil or grease got into the die crevices? It's a legitimate error and is worth keeping in a 2x2.

Struck through oil or light grease, not cloth.

If it were cloth, there would be texture:

The lines you are seeing on that area are rolling lines that were not removed during the strike because of the Grease Fill.
