Not an IDB. And the die crack is in a common area on the LMC but a little longer than normal. John1

Thanks John1, yes longer than normal, I've seen many of the corner to rim ones.

@Roro57, this is a very nice example of die cracks emanating from design elements that act as stress risers. I took this photo recently of a square manhole cover in the street as another example of this. All the cracks come from the sharp corners--just like on your coin.

But the crack on the die (dies are a negative) is incuse like the street. On a coin, (coins are a positive) the cracks will be raised, just like your coin.

Those are common Die Cracks. I see it all of the time.

On that 1983,I have seen them with a RIDB in that area but yours looks like a regular die crack. John1

Thanks to all that responded. I have such a small sampling size of US coins that I scrutinize everyone. I can just imagine with the numbers that are minted and the boxes people search what they are going to come across.I hope I won't drive you crazy when I start going through my wheat cents but since I have a ton of those it probably won't be till next winter.
