The only Bank token design with a crown. So they both have a crown on the reverse?

We have a WINNER! Both are fakes that I just got from China. I ordered an assortmaent to see how real they looked. Some are scary good. Some are easily spotted. I will show some of the others once I return from coin show. I ordered these directly from China. But now I see there is a guy in China selling a huge assortment of these on ebay. DBM where do you want me to send the fake token?

Good job DBN. Easy to see once someone mentions it and you look for the markers.

I'm appalled. The spread of counterfeits is the biggest problem for this hobby. What the OP has done here is offensive to both myself and the coin collecting community as a whole. No responsible collector should ever purchase modern counterfeits for any reason whatsoever.

Sorry DBM that you are appalled. I meant to inform, so that others don't end up buying these as real. I will still go ahead and post pictures of all the fakes that (yes) I bought. It is much easier to learn what to avoid when you have a fake in your hand. I showed the 50 cent coin around to dealers at the coin show Saturday. Most could tell it was a fake right away once they had it in their hand. One was fooled even when he had it in hand! He also had a 10 cent Canada in his offerings that I believe was made in China - he didn't think so. When all you have to go by are pictures on ebay, these are very deceptive. As should be evident by the number of wrong guesses as to what these had in common.

These are better fakes than a lot I have seen. Maybe it's easier to tell in hand. I was a little surprised to see the way you were handling them. I assume you wouldn't be doing that with real ones. How does the weight compare to the real ones?
