1939-D Quarter Possible Error? - Coin Community Forum

Leebo180 New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 03/23/2019 05:24 am I was going through one of my quarter bags and came across this and it looked strange to me. There seems to be some off setting in America, a bar through the right wing, no lower leaves on the right side, and what I thought was a rim ding but it looks strange. Second, while you have a nice silver quarter there, I see a little damage at the D of DOLLAR, but no bar in the eagle's wing. The letters M, E, and R show a little damage in AMERICA I think also.
