So I've had this cent for a little while and just got around to fishing it out and taking some pictures.

Not sure Exactly what to call the error due to how off center it is. And since I've moved away from collecting modern/US and focus elsewhere, rough value?

Uni-face on the reverse. If this the real deal? I say yes. I see something that verifies it to me. What is that? Note the parallel line on the reverse just beyond the indent? That shows me the ridge on the die that would form the rim of the coin. Seeing this confirms it to me that this is an off center strike with a uniface/indent on the reverse.

I do see the described notches. Much more noticeable in hand and only seem to appear on the reverse

Very Nice.
Cool coin pics.
I don't think I can find something like this in a bank roll unless it had a lot of elbow room.

If memory serves me right, I picked it up for basically nothing as a simple Off-Center strike a year or two ago.

These won't fit into rolls. These were from the days when they sent the coins out of the mint in sealed bags from the mint.
