Poll Question
I have recently expanded on my cherry picking pocket change stage and recently begun to collect coins. this mint proof set I had purchased for $3, no joke. The more I look at this coin set, the more I think it has a strong resemblance to the 1964 SMS set. It is a gorgeous coin but it 100% does not have the same appearance as my other proof coins when I compare them. Your thoughts?

It _MAY_ be a proof. But not an SMS

There are scratches on the reverse that are markers for the 1964 SMS cent. My vote is no.

If the reverse doesn't have Die Scratches, then it's not the SMS Cent.

The rims on a proof cent on that date had flat edges on the rim. Sometimes markers are die scratches on the rim area.

Note the rims on these proof coins how instead of being rounded, they are flat?

Note how the rim is flat and can have die scratches from the die. They are used as markers. So if this coin is a proof, it should have rims like the above image.
