Picked this one up a couple of weeks ago. I've no issues with what it's graded as, but thought others might want to take a shot at grading it from photos. I'm guessing that this one will be pretty easy for most folks

I'm new at this but I'd say AU-55.

What makes them so difficult? Is it because they wear so unevenly?

Somewhat, also that nobody agrees on them. The grade is based on a few obverse points and reverse points. Not a lot of the buffalo design disappears with wear. We judge grade by lack of detail, when the detail doesn't really disappear it becomes harder

Hmmm, apparently I was wrong about this

So far, the grades are ranging from VF35 to AU55. A 6 grade spread isn't as tight as I thought it would be

I will say that the PCGS/CAC grade is one of the grades in that 6 grade range though. I'll post it tomorrow
