1985 Pointed 5 With Broken Die Error?

JohnWayne007 Pillar of the Community Canada 1186 Posts	Posted 03/26/2019 11:51 am So I was over looking the pics I had posted in the Grading section regarding this 1985 pointed 5 cent I had found and while looking I noticed that after the queens ear in her hair there is 3 lines coming down and at first I thought it was normal but than looked at all the other 1985 blunt 5 pennies I had and none of them look like that so I'm wondering if maybe this is a die break. no magnification is needed to see it but I added close ups to see what I'm looking at more clearly. I'm going to assume it is some type of die gouge as its protruding out of the coin but I just wanted to see if anyone else might have an idea of what it is and if it means much or if its a common occurrence.
