If you are asking why the years all seem to be 'odd' (1,3,5,7,9) numbers is that even though a president was elected in 'even' years, they didn't actually start as president until the following year. ((Trump was elected in 2016, but wasn't really the president until 1/20/17))
For the most part, until Ike in 1953, all the elected presidents took office on March 4th. Some took office at different dates do to the previous president's death. Beginning with Eisenhower in 1953, all future presidents were sworn in on January 20th, except for L.B.J. (November due to Kennedy's death and Ford (August due to Nixon's premature departure).

First is abbreviated 1st
Second is abbreviated 2nd
Third is abbreviated 3rd
Fourth, fifth, etc. are abbreviated 4th, 5th, etc.

This is normal.

Nothing wrong about it, that is the normal way of abbreviating.

The January 20th date actually started with FDR's second term.

Eisenhower was the first to take office on that date for a first term.

Truman's first term started when FDR passed away, but his second started on January 20th.

Usually when you see something like that (#65292) it is because they have used an emoji that isn't supported on the forum.

Correct.

They show up on the text entry area, but most will not post.
