Curious as to what everyone thinks of this one. It's very odd, as the tops of every letter is at a different depth than the rest of the letter, almost as if it has a lip at the top of each. This is especially apparent in the "T" as the horizontal portion of the "T" is at a completely seperate destinguishable "Height" or "Plane" than the Verticle Portion of it.

The Letter "I" also has a clear form pressed into it, Along with the odd "Lip" near the edge of the coin. Very interesting, and may very well be my first Double-Die, and all together first Really Solid Destinguishable Error!

Also, underneath a Washington, the Date "1982" - The "9" Seems Cut off at the Tail in comparison to other 1982 Quarters that I have looked at. Even side by side something seems off. Any thoughts? Also, I suppose there is a possibly everything I've stated and shown is Damage from circulation. But, I seriously doubt that in this case. Which is why I would love This Community's Opinions on the matter!

Also, I think this was one of the best Pictures I've been able to get well. As well as a great use of my Skills with Editing Photo Dyamic's that I use in my Advertising Outside of my Coin Hobby. Please give me some Feedback on what you think about the Pics!

Not a Doubled Die. Just heavy Die Deterioration, caused by a worn die issue, from striking a ton of planchets at the U.S. Mint.

Also a different issue happened that year. The 1982 master hub was expanding and the following year a new master hub was created. When you look at the examples in that time period, you can see this event happening:
1982-P->-Double-:-L-I-B-E-R-T-Y->--Die-Deterioration
Even Machine Doubling was pushing the edges out on this years devices.:
1982-P->-Double-:-L-I-B-E-R-T-Y->--Die-Deterioration
1982-P->-Double-:-L-I-B-E-R-T-Y->--Die-Deterioration
1982-P->-Double-:-L-I-B-E-R-T-Y->--Die-Deterioration
1982-P->-Double-:-L-I-B-E-R-T-Y->--Die-Deterioration
1982-P->-Double-:-L-I-B-E-R-T-Y->--Die-Deterioration
Note how the bust even look smaller because of the new master hub that was created.

ChristianSPR, there's no premium for Die Deterioration, as it's very common, and is part of normal wear and tear on the dies.
