Not sure what this is and who would receive it but I haven't been able to find an EXACT example in 3 months searching the internet and ebay.. all I know is it's someone named al Sabah? Head of Kuwait Olympic committee. But Olympics were never held in Kuwait so not sure what this would be given for. It weighs 240 grams. Circumference is shown in photos fits just inside a normal red solo cup rim!Again not sure what it's made of either. Got it at an estate sale and the woman that died was a nurse and lived in Saudi Arabia.. thanks for all the help.
It seems to be a medal commemorating Shaykh Fahad al-Ahmed al-Jaber al-Sabah of Kuwait who was the founder of the Kuwait Olympic Committee and who was killed in battle during the 1990 invasion of Kuwait by Iraq. The line below the portait reads al-Shahid al-Shaykh Fahad al-Ahmed al-Jaber al-Sabah. Al-Shahid means "the Martyr". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fahad...ber_Al-Sabah
