I can understand your concern since the eagle does not show corresponding lightness. Perhaps someone lightly worked on Liberty at one point, though the fields around her seem natural. Perhaps removing it from the holder and sending different pics would help.

The coin doesn't look that bad in my opinion. It actually looks pretty good. Coins like this may have been cleaned at some point. Take your coins out of the holders before taking pictures.

I agree the coin looks solid. Its not my coin yet....I have already asked the seller to send pics of the coin minus the holder. Will keep you posted.

Way back people used to spit on their fingers and rub a coin. Sort of a cleaning but mostly just to make it look better. Yours has that appearance but a really nice coin.
