I got a bag of 600 wheat cents at my LCS today, and this is one of the results so far. I believe it to be an inverted mint mark but I want to be sure with the multiple MM styles and the circulation wear on my coin. Also, I see different sites say this is a rare variety, and others say its just one of the styles. Which one of these is correct? Thank you!

Thank you Mr. Coop! Any ideas on the mintage/rarity? I can't get a clear answer from any websites.

No. I don't follow prices for these. Someone else might know. The black spot on the reverse will reduce the value. (carbon spot)

That's what I thought with the carbon spot. I expect no value out of this, I simply want to know how hard it is to come across. Thanks Mr. Coop! Appreciate your help always.

Thanks GC! I'm guessing that isn't for a coin in this bad of shape right? Do you have a rarity number or mintage as well? Thanks!

They list at URS-6 for what that's worth. Yes, Grape has it right at $5-7 for your coin, with what looked to be low grade MS condition one selling (fully and correctly attributed) on ebay a few days ago for $30.
