1942-S Lincoln Wheat Cent / LWC Possible New Inverted Mint Mark?

Its pretty beat up so its hard to tell. I didn't think obverse/reverse pictures would be needed at this time. Let me know what you think. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 04/02/2019 11:17 pm Well your coins mint mark style is a MMS-004 which is normal for this year. While it looks larger, I didn't see a match to a RPM for V.V. site. The MMS-006 is the mint mark style that had the inverted mint mark. (That style is called a Ball serif for that year. There were three different mint marks that year) The best way to tell the differences on the 1946-S inverted is the illustrations below. Report this Post to the Staff
