I figured that. But doesn't look like slag on the "M" on the 1893? and yes they are the rare date ones. Will try to load the backs today. Also one is 26.66 grams and the other is 26.70 grams. and they both pass the fisch test. I was fixing to drill holes in them until I found your message board.

One particular Chinese counterfeitter uses the same reverse die for all years of Carson city Morgans that they produce. The key diagnostic is the slash to the left on the eagles breast, which is present on your example.

Both coins are counterfiets of Chinese origins.

I figured so. Is it made of real siver it passes the fisch test and the weight is correct
