Mercury dimes, my favorite coin. Actually should be called Winged Liberty Head Dimes. However, due to the coins minted prior to that, Liberty Head, people basically prefer to call these Mercury Head Dimes. Minted from 1916 to 1945 and I sure wish they would start making them again. I have 12 sets of those and 10 of them are complete. Hopefully you too will start a Mercury dime collection.

Hello peoples of Earth. I will try to do this the best way possible. I have still yet to figure out the posting tricks on here. Not quite sure how to reply to someone directly so I am going to do it like this, I'll call it My Way. Coinfrog asked Quote: Did you have any questions about this? Thanks for taking the time to reply. Yes I do have a question regarding the small "W" or what is that mark on the bottom right in the 4 O'Clock? (or 5 O'Clock) Justcarl said Quote: Mercury Dimes, my favorite coin. Actually should be called Winged Liberty Head Dimes. This is why I came to this website, Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and admiration's. I really do appreciate you taking your time to reply to this photo. I am not sure quite yet what I am to do with these coins, they really should be called Winged Liberty Head. I like that name better, such an awesome awesome coin! Hope to hear from you in the future! T-BOP.. oh T-BOP... You really nailed why I am uploading these pictures. I'm going to share with you the package that this coin came in, I want to see if your grade correlates with the package. I Think I am more inclined to agree with you.. why? Because what I have read on the internet, is perhaps.... Littleton coin company, may or may not have sent their customers low quality coins for a premium price. But, with that being said, nice profile picture, I happen to be a Texas Rangers fan as well. I have lived in North Texas for 24 years of my young life (hopefully) Anyways, thank you all for the replies. Another picture is incoming regarding the packaging I opened these coins from. Regards Caleb EDIT** T BOP. Where are my manners.. Thank you for sharing your opinion, or what you believe is true. Keep rockin

Here is an image of the packaging this coin was shipped in. Only was it Yesterday 4/5/19 that his coin had been opened for the first time since at the very very very earliest 2007. My guess is this was ordered 2000-2005.

I'm a New Yorker born and bred . My avatar which I copied from the internet is just a cymbal of my high school days and nick name my friends had given me . But thanks for the coin related complements . Greatly appreciated .

To help save you some time, in worn condition, the Mercury dime dates with values above silver melt will be 1916-D, 1921, 1921-D, 1926-S, and 1931-D. Overdates are also of value, but chances are slim to none you would get one from Littleton.

T-BOP Thanks again! jimbucks says Quote:in worn condition, the Mercury dime dates with values above silver melt will be 1916-D, 1921, 1921-D, 1926-S, and 1931-D. Overdates are also of value, but chances are slim to none you would get one from Littleton. I'm not 100% sure what an "Overdates" is. I don't think I have any Mercury dimes with those dates. I have a few more to share that I am going to upload to one post.
