coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 04/07/2019 7:39 pm When MD coins are graded, they are considered as part of the strike. Not lowering the grade. MD is just considered as normal coin to the graders. But to a collector, it is something detestable to them them, if it is on a variety coin. A large percentage of the 1969-S DDO-001 have Machine Doubling on them. A very low percentage of them don't have the Machine Doubling. Report this Post to the Staff

And the thickness on LIBERTY is probably a result of result of one of two non-valuable Working Hubs.
