Found another die error. I saw someone refer to it as King of the Hill error. Looks more like a nest for the eagle to me. I take it these are pretty common and not worth anything? Well, $0.25 anyway.

Die chip. The die is breaking down. It has many, many more strikes before retirement. The chip will continue to get larger with time.

A Die Chip. Too common and worth 25 cents.

@BB, yep that is a die chip up on the top of those rocks--we have seen a few here previously if you want to use the CCF search function. I hadn't heard those names for it though--too funny.

Guys, sorry about the post. I did search CCF and found quite a few references. So if I search and find stuff related to what I have then don't post it in here right? The reason I ask is because I just found a 2000 Virginia Quarter that has what looks like a ledge on the underside a lot of the letters in United State of America. Was going to post it in here for opinions but will do a CCF serch for that on too.

But thanks to all who took the time to post an opinion.

Bluebark to the CCF.

If I was the first to find this coin with the chip.. I would call it rattler on the rock.
My theory is if it is "cool" sounding, then it will become popular. Sort of like the spitting horse quarter (Delaware?).

So it's just a community kind of thing. I get it!

Thank you...
