Picked up some Half Cents today and while looking them over saw that each of these coins was rotated 90 degrees. Nothing too spectacular as I understand that's not super uncommon on Half Cents but just thought it neat that the obverses face opposite directions and when you flip them over each is rotated 90 degrees in the opposite direction. Posting just for the fun symmetry aspect of it.

Very interesting. @tb, consider cross posting the '06 today here: http://goccf.com/t/343784&whichpage=8#2953819

I believe rotated dies are quite common on these issues and they seldom bring a premium, or am I wrong here?

I'm pretty sure there is little or no premium on the rotated dies. I collect some of them and would seem reasonable to add these to that collection since I already have them in hand.

I don't understand what is going on with the thread Spence posted. I rarely stray from the modern E and V discussion board and don't follow what is going on here. Posting coins from each year one year at a time?

Yes that is correct @tb. @silverdollar describes the date progression at the start of the thread.

Both of those varieties(06 C-4 and 09 C-6) are listed as often coming with the reverse rotated at various angles.
