Are these extra columns between 3 and 4, doubling in top left of 5 column, doubling between 5 and 6, above Lincoln, between 10 and 11, outside 12?

Could be fading die scratches.
They don't look raised, so they could just be stains.
There are 4 false columns that are part of the design.

Why are they there? Because those are showing the rows of columns behind those areas of the building:
