Isn't 1960 penny supposed to be Wide AM. I think I have a Close AM.

That's normal for that year. A spender.

Close AMs didn't occur until 1993. It's a normal Wide AM. Still in the center oft the AME area.

There are no 1960 CAM, they are all WAM.
To verify which is which, look at the A in STATES.
If it is centered between the "T's", it is WAM, if it is
off centre, it is a CAM.

JimmyD
will the off center "A" be distinct or slight.
When looking at the "A" it looks slightly closer to the right "T". I have no way to measure it but when view it threw my 14x triple it looks of centered.

It looks centered to the eye.
A CAM is easily seen as the A being closer to the right T,
no microscope needed.

I added this picture so you can see how close the A is to the T
and the A is to the M.
