Hello everybody. I'm pretty new here. Found a 1971 Lincoln Cent. Maybe you can help me value this one... Is it just an ordinary one or something special?

P.s Sorry for the low-quality pic.

Thanks

Boris

Thanks for the reply, I saw some of this coins with an "s" under the year. I believe it should be the mintmark, and this one is missing it, so I though it may be an error or a rarity of some sort ..

1971 Lincoln Cent minted in Philadelphia( no mint mark) with a mintage of 1.9 billion, very common and worth one cent Even a nice red uncirculated example is very inexpensive.

And since it's bronze, people are saving these. Nice one to keep, and here!

The metal alone is worth about twice the face value, so most definitely a keeper!
