Very nice scare variaty. I would go with ANACS not ICG. ICG has zero rep in all honesty and sell for raw prices. At least ANACS holders can carry some weight.

i use to do ANACS but their holder split I sent over 50 coins to them and all but two came to me with cracks in the holders also anacs grades are all over the place to be honest I tested them I hate to say it but they are far worse then icg at this point maybe sales wise ANACS maybe better but if you want your coin graded right icg is the better company I sent 20 coins I cracked from NGC and PCGS to icg and almost all came back same grade except 2 1 was au53 came back au 55 and one was unc details came back au58 nothing beats PCGS or NGC but for the price icg is better thats just my opinion

Just for learning purposes, is it just the ear that is doubled? Or is it in the lettering as well? Hard to tell when I Increase the size. I'm trying to go through threads and look to help me figure out DDs. Also, is there various doubles on the ear ?

there is very strong offset hub doubling on the ear, back of the head, beard, and bow tie.

Very, very nice find! I would go with ANACS at the bare minimum. PCGS or NGC is probably best.

Agree, ICG is a total waste of money.

probably will never use ANACS again to be honest unless they change their holder and fix their grading system but thats just me I send most my coins to ICG if they are cheap under $500 and NGC if worth more like I said before had a bad experience with ANACS and until they fix it just gonna go with icg and NGC icg old green labeled holders I agree are all over the place but from what ive seen with the new blue label holders they are grading about the same standard as NGC for the most part and the holder doesn't feel as cheap as ANACS but again thats just my opinion I use to love ANACS for cheaper coins but they ruined it for me

Awesome find and congratulations! This is a big deal, since they're litterally almost impossible to find. I have actually found one of these myself almost 2 years ago CRH.

What a great find in circulation, and no zinc deterioration to speak of after 25 years. Congrats!
